FRANCE, Comité de Patronage des Écoles Professionnelles, Paris [Patronage Committee for Vocational Schools], c. 1910, an Art Nouveau silver award plaque by H.-J. Lefebvre, arms of the city of Paris above a central tablet with legend in six lines, flanked by, at left, a turreted female allegory of the city speaking to a young man holding a portfolio under his arm, and at right, a young woman sat at an embroidery table being overseen by a teacher, rev. symbols of learning in medallions around a central tablet, un-named, edge impressed 2 argent and cornucopia, 69 x 57mm, 139.79g (BM Acq. 1978-82, p.43, 90; cf. CGB Oct. 2024, 466). Very fine and very rare £120-£150.
