France. 10 Euro 2025 "DS Citroen" (No reserve price)

Rare French collectible 10 euro silver coin, issued in 2025 by the Monnaie de Paris in partnership with DS Automobiles, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the legendary Citroën DS. The commemorative obverse features a 1975 DS 23, recognizable by its famous swiveling headlights. Their beams are enhanced by an elegant gold coloring. Below appears, like in a reflection, the original 1955 DS, creating a dialogue between two emblematic generations of this French automobile. The reverse presents the facial value of 10 euros, accompanied by oak and laurel branches, at the center of a geometric assembly evoking the Hexagon. The coin is kept in its official illustrated cardholder, recounting in pictures the history and saga of the DS. A issue that has become particularly hard to find With a limited edition of only 5,000 copies, this coin met with immediate success and was sold out within the first week of its sale. It is now listed as “Sold out” by the Monnaie de Paris and is no longer available from the issuer. A rare opportunity to acquire the first coin of this DS-focused collection, sought after both by French coin collectors and automobile enthusiasts.
