Frame - Wood, Resin - French Marco

Elegant gold frame in Louis XV style, with a wooden structure and molded front ornamentation, apparently resin-based. It stands out for its undulating silhouette and its rich Rocaille decoration, with leaves and scrolls that accentuate the corners and the center of each side. A delicate ornamental frieze runs along the inner edge, completing a composition with great presence and refinement. The gilded finish combines bright, luminous areas with darker nuances in the reliefs, adding depth and highlighting the richness of its shapes. A highly decorative piece that evokes the elegance of French salons. It shows wear and irregularities in the finish, visible in the photographs, which are part of the description of its condition.
