Refined desktop photo frame made of silver from the second half of the 20th century, inspired by the elegance and decorative balance characteristic of the French Louis XVI style. Its oval shape and delicate adornments evoke the neoclassical models that enjoyed great popularity in 18th-century decorative arts and which continued to be reinterpreted by contemporary high jewelry and silverware. The piece features a fine perimeter frame decorated with delicate vegetal motifs and beaded moldings, executed with great precision. At the top stands an elegant ornamental finial composed of scrolls, leaves, and a central heraldic-inspired cartouche, a decorative resource closely associated with the Louis XVI repertoire. The composition is completed with two stylized curved supports that provide stability and enhance its distinguished appearance.
