Fragments - Vigil - JIAN MA

Fragments - Vigil by JIAN MA Painting 39.0 x 32.0 :: Vigil the third work in Jane M.’s Fragments series brings a slender cream crescent into a deep charcoal field. Below it a pale geometric wedge opens between muted grey planes while a broad dark curve gives the composition a sense of enclosure. The small crescent and the larger illuminated form establish two quiet points of attention within the darkness. Their separation suggests watchfulness waiting and a connection sustained across an empty space. Through restrained colour architectural geometry and visible brushwork Jane M. explores the persistence of light as a trace of memory and presence. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Contemporary Subject: Abstract Width: 39.0 Height: 32.0 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 7.72 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
