Fragments - Remains - JIAN MA

Fragments - Remains by JIAN MA Painting 39.0 x 32.0 :: Remains the fifth work in Jane M.’s Fragments series brings together an earthy olive-brown rectangle pale architectural planes and a muted yellow vertical band. A broad light-blue curve conceals their lower edges while an isolated blue circle punctuates the warm grey space above. The overlapping forms suggest fragments of a place whose original connections have become uncertain. Some elements remain firmly present; others are partly hidden or separated by silence. Through restrained geometry subtle brushwork and measured colour relationships Jane M. explores what persists in memory after a larger whole has faded. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Contemporary Subject: Abstract Width: 39.0 Height: 32.0 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 7.72 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
