Fr. 2212-Gm. 1934A $1000 Federal Reserve Note. Mule. Chicago. PMG Choice Very Fine 35. A moderately circulated example in technical terms. Bidders have much to appreciate nonetheless when it comes to this handsome $1000 Federal Reserve Note from the Chicago district issued under the Series of 1934A. Here luscious colors are brought to form by the Treasury overprint while crisp engraved detail is brought to form by a gradient of neutral tones including the lifelike portrait of Grover Cleveland that was also once a mainstay of the $20 Federal Reserve Notes issued under the Series of 1914. In all, this example is a fine exemplar of a denomination that would utterly befuddle the layman of 2026 and one deserving of a strong bid. Estimate: $3,000 - $4,000.
