Fr. 2211-J. 1934 Light Green Seal $1000 Federal Reserve Note. Kansas City. PCGS Banknote About Uncirculated 55. Lightly circulated with a single vertical fold neatly bisecting the portrait of Grover Cleveland. This $1000 Federal Reserve Note from the Kansas City district issued under the Series of 1934 offers no shortage of traits that deserve to be appreciated. Foremost among these traits tough is arguably the Treasury overprint which offers rich testament to a coloration discontinued during the 1930s which effortlessly cuts an impeccable contrast against the engraved design. Here the portrait of Grover Cleveland acts as the compositional keystone that effectively binds together a collection of seemingly unrelated design elements that serve to demonstrate a familiar form that betrays this note as something coveted by collectors sure to command a strong bid. Estimate: $5,000 - $7,000. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.
