Fr. 2211-G. 1934 Dark Green Seal $1000 Federal Reserve Note. Chicago.

Fr. 2211-G. 1934 Dark Green Seal $1000 Federal Reserve Note. Chicago. PCGS Banknote Very Fine 25. A veritable survivor compared to some at this grade level. Bidders have here for their consideration a solid, but evenly circulated $1000 Federal Reserve Note from the Chicago district issued under the Series of 1934. Here the paper body does show some signs of toning consistent with circulation, but overall the note itself is rather attractive for the grade assigned. Absent are evident annotations and distracting remnants of teller stamps that seem to plague circulated $500 and $1000 Federal Reserve Notes making this note a real aesthetic outlier among its peers at this grade level. Estimate: $3,000 - $3,600. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.

Estimate:$1,800
