Fr. 2202-G. 1934A $500 Federal Reserve Note. Chicago. PMG Very Fine 25.

Fr. 2202-G. 1934A $500 Federal Reserve Note. Chicago. PMG Very Fine 25. An honest survivor of commercial channels. Bidders are nonetheless met here by an evenly circulated example of this ever-popular denomination which has earned a numerical grade of "25." Yet the grade assigned is only part of the calculus for this item. Here excellent eye appeal can be found throughout the engraved design while crisp color is retained and easily appreciated. Even the comment for "Minor Ink" relating to a spot of ink at left can be easily overlooked when it comes to this evenly circulated $500 Federal Reserve Note from the Chicago district issued under the Series of 1934A. PMG comments "Minor Ink." Estimate: $1,600 - $1,900. Click here for certification details from PMG.

Estimate:$960
