Fr. 2202-B. 1934A $500 Federal Reserve Note. New York. PMG Extremely Fine 40. A lightly circulated example of an ever-popular denomination that was discontinued in the 1940s. This $500 Federal Reserve Note issued under the Series of 1934A accounts for a rather pleasing sight and comes from the New York district which is surprisingly somewhat scarce relative to pieces from the Chicago district. Here bidders have much for their consideration in aesthetic and technical terms leaving little to doubt that this is indeed a solid representative of the grade assigned that also possesses a number of traits that are certainly pluses for the grade assigned and should soon come to provoke the interest of bidders. Estimate: $2,000 - $2,800. Click here for certification details from PMG.
