Fr. 1025. 1914 $50 Federal Reserve Note. Boston. PCGS Banknote Extremely Fine 40. Representative of a scarce Friedberg Number dating to a brief window between 1918 and 1920. This lightly circulated $50 Federal Reserve Note issued under the Series of 1914 offers much that can be appreciated by bidders. From uncommon eye appeal even for the grade assigned to rich color and boundless detail that serves to accomplish a popular design, one would be remiss to overlook these qualities solely in favor of a numerical consideration that reflects only the grade assigned. This held together with the fact that roughly 75 pieces are known for this Friedberg Number certainly makes this an opportunity to be had by bidders when held against the numismatic calculus for districts like New York or Chicago. Estimate: $1,250 - $1,750. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.
