Sale offer: A magnificent Fortis military watch, World War II era, powered by the reliable 15-jewel ETA 930 movement. This magnificent watch represents Swiss watchmaking from the 1940s of the Fortis brand. Fortis has been a registered trademark in Switzerland since 1913. These types of military watches are also called "trench watches". Specifications: Brand: Fortis Movement: Mechanical (Cal. ETA 930) - 15 jewels Case diameter: 33 mm Dial: Black Functions: Time Case: Steel Strap: Black and gray military-style fabric strap. Year of production: 1945 Place of manufacture: Switzerland Condition: In working order and keeping time. The Plexiglas/plexi has no scratches. The case is in good condition, with some wear from use. New strap imitating the original, which was in very poor condition. The watch has been recently serviced, cleaned, and oiled. Description: A rare and magnificent vintage Fortis military watch in good condition. The watch runs on the reliable 15-jewel ETA 930 mechanical caliber, known for its smooth performance and innovative construction, and one of the earliest produced of this model. Very rare to find.
