Fontana Arte - Design Lab - Wall lamp - Egg - Glass, Metal

The Fontana Arte Uovo is a timeless Italian design object whose strength lies in simplicity and perfect proportions. Designed in the seventies, the lamp takes its name from the characteristic egg-shaped shade — a form that feels at once organic, understated, and universal. The diffuser is made of satin-blown white glass and emits a soft, even, and diffused light. This creates a warm, tranquil lighting effect that subtly accents the space without being conspicuously present. The Uovo does not function as a striking statement, but as a quiet carrier of atmosphere and balance. Thanks to its pure form and timeless appearance, the Uovo can be used both solo and in composition. The lamp integrates effortlessly into a wide range of interiors and manifests itself as both a functional wall lamp and a discreet, sculptural wall object.
