Fluorite 'briquet-faden' floater with Quartz 'The Gun' - Akwana

Watch a video of this specimen by following the Vimeo link below: https://vimeo.com/1147365625/abb5408000 Here is an outstanding fluorite specimen from a new find (2025) in Akwana, Nigeria! These new specimens look similar to the pieces from the Pennines deposits (England), but with higher lustre, colour zoning and additional rare trioctahedron faces. Akwana is already considered a new international classic for the species. This specimen consists in an elongated 'briquet', also known as 'funky fluorite' in England, a rare crystal shape resulting in that case from a faden type growth! The whole cluster is a floater of gray-green purple colour, with bitumen bleb inclusions, looking like a gun shape, hence the name of the specimen. Discovery 2025

Estimate:$3,696.77
