All auctions / Contemporary Art / Flavia Delgado - CHERRY LADY XL
CHERRY LADY is a painting by Flavia Delgado that blends the language of contemporary Pop Art with the aesthetics of retro American advertising posters. The composition centers around a pink rotary phone, accompanied by cherries, dice, and playing cards, creating a playful scene linked to chance, seduction, and popular culture. The work develops an almost monochromatic palette of pink, fuchsia, and magenta, balanced with cream, black, and small color accents. The large upper typography, bold black outlines, and flat color surfaces provide the visual punch typical of vintage posters and comics. The old telephone acts as protagonist and symbol of communication, waiting, and encounters, while the cherries, cards, and dice introduce references to gaming, luck, and retro iconography. The result connects with Pop Art, mid-20th-century advertising, pin-up aesthetics, and vintage graphic design, reinterpreted from a contemporary pictorial viewpoint. Cherry Lady is especially appealing to collectors of pop art, vintage posters, American culture, retro design, and contemporary figurative painting. SHIPMENT: The work is offered directly by FLAVIA DELGADO, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist herself. The painting (UNFRAMED) will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. After payment is confirmed, a three-day period is required to prepare the piece and send it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum timeframe of up to ten business days.
