Flag - Extremely Rare Giant XXXL United States 50 stars Flag – 9.70 × 5.55 m

A truly exceptionally large specimen of the American flag, made with the official 50 stars representing the 50 states of the United States. With an impressive size of no less than 9.70 × 5.55 meters, this flag has an area of about 54 m² and belongs to the type of so-called Giant Flags that are specially made for large events and representative purposes. The American flag, also known as the Stars and Stripes, consists of thirteen horizontal red and white stripes, referring to the original thirteen British colonies that formed the United States. In the blue canton there are 50 white stars, one for each American state. The current 50-star flag has been officially in use since 1960, after Hawaii joined as the 50th state. Flags of this exceptional size are used in the United States for various purposes, including major sporting events, stadium ceremonies, national holidays, military and veterans ceremonies, commemorations and other large-scale patriotic events. For example, during American football and baseball games, such flags can be rolled out across the field by dozens of people during the American national anthem. Enormous American flags are also used on Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Independence Day (4th of July) and other official or national gatherings. Because of their enormous dimensions, such flags also have a strong visual impact when hung on a large building, stage, grandstand or façade. They are not ordinary home or ship flags, but true ceremonial and event flags designed to be visible from a great distance. This specimen is particularly impressive with its almost 10-meter length. A flag of over 54 m² in a private collection is therefore a striking and unusual object. Because of the size, the flag is well suited as a special collectors’ item, decoration for a large space, an event, or as an impressive piece of American history and culture. A very decorative and rare size for the collector of American flags, militaria, historical objects and Americana. Considering the exceptional size and the likely use as an event flag, the flag shows some signs of use. These consist of light signs of use that can occur on a flag of this size and type. The flag has been carefully inspected beforehand and the existing signs of use are clearly visible in the photos in this advertisement. Dimensions: approximately 9.70 × 5.55 meters.
