Flacon Napoléon lll en opaline uranifère - Perfume flask - Uranium glass

Very beautiful flacon in uranium opaline glass, French glassware from the 19th century, Napoleon III. It shows a bright and luminous response under a 395 nm UV lamp. In mass-colored opaline with a milky and semi-opaque appearance, its bulbous body in three superimposed sections evokes a small gourd or a vanity bottle. Its horizontally gold-painted bands are laid out on the different levels and its motifs of small gold crosses cut across the horizontal lines. It is a very beautiful collectible object.
