Fine Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autographed baseball...

Fine Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autographed baseball c.1920s (PSA/DNA 6 EX-MT Overall). Red and blue stitched Reach E.S. Barnard Official American League baseball has been signed “Babe Ruth” across the sweet spot with “Lou Gehrig” appearing on adjacent panel. Both are done in fountain pen with Ruth having been assigned the grade of 6 out of 10 and Gehrig at a 7 out of 10. The ball itself displays light even toning with uncommonly well-defined manufacturer’s stampings (stamped commissioner signature has faded). A compelling example of one of the most prized pieces in genre of baseball autograph collecting. Includes original box (missing lid) and full LOA from PSA/DNA (Ruth: 6, Gehrig: 7, Ball: 5, Overall: 6): Signatures: Range EX/MT-NM, Baseball: EX
