Pearl necklaces are available in various lengths and are therefore versatile. The classic "choker" (35-40 cm) is recommended for everyday wear or the office. The slightly longer "Matinée necklace" (50-60 cm) is suitable for festive outfits, while the elegant "Opera length" (70-90 cm), worn single or double, is a stylish eye-catcher for evening wear or a grand ball. With a length of 77 cm, this necklace also belongs to the "opera length". This necklace consists of 103 shimmering saltwater cultured pearls, so-called Akoya pearls, from Japan. The pearls are all very round and uniform in size, their color is a uniform, slightly warm white. The surface of the pearls shows only a few to medium growth marks. The fact that pearls with a very good and medium lustre are combined with slightly pink and slightly green overlay gives the necklace a charming vibrancy. The white gold clasp shows the typical style of the German post-war period and is set with another pearl. This timeless piece found its way to us here in Berlin. A classic choice for a visit to the opera, but also for many other festive occasions.
