Figurine - Bambina con piatto - Porcelain, Ceramic, Glaze

Splendid glazed ceramic sculpture/ashtray depicting a young woman in traditional Sardinian dress (Desulo). The modeling, colors, and style are typical and expressly attributable to the renowned Turin workshop C.I.A. Manna (Costante Ines Alberto), founded by former Lenci artisans. Important note about the signature: On the bottom of the object there is the inscription 'Lenci Torino Italy'. It should be specified that this signature is to be considered apocryphal, placed at a later date. The object is therefore sold and valued as an authentic and refined C.I.A. Manna ceramic from the mid-century period, and not as a piece from the Lenci manufacture.
