FIERENS (Paul). Van Gogh - Lot 101

FIERENS (Paul). Van Gogh Paris, Braun & Cie, “Palettes” Collection, circa 1930–1940. Quarto, paperback, illustrated with 32 color reproductions. A fine popular art album published in the famous “Palettes” series. Paul Fierens’ text accompanies a selection of color reproductions intended to introduce Van Gogh’s work to the general public. The copy presented here remains of interest despite its modest condition (worn cover and loose pages), as the quality of the plates retains genuine decorative and documentary appeal.
