Federico Alibrio - The Intuitive One - Barn Owl

"The Intuitive One - Barn Owl" Ceramic Opera by Federico Alibrio "The Intuitive One - Barn Owl" is a refined glazed ceramic wall sculpture created by artist Federico Alibrio. The work depicts a slender, essential barn owl silhouette, characterized by fluid lines that synthesize its form with pronounced contemporary elegance. Meaning and Symbolism: In symbolic tradition, the barn owl is the guardian of the night, a creature capable of seeing what remains hidden in the shadow. It represents deep intuition, clairvoyance, and the ability to perceive truth beyond appearances. The choice of blue and cobalt blue tones intensifies this message: blue is historically the color of introspection, spiritual mystery, and inner calm. The glossy glaze finish creates plays of light and shades that range from midnight blue to light turquoise at the lower edges, evoking the transition between darkness and dawn, the light of intuition piercing the obscurity. Technical and Aesthetic Details: Artist: Federico Alibrio (signed on the back "F. Alibrio 26" with the artist's monogram). Technique: Hand-modeled and incised ceramic, finished with a glossy glaze transitioning color from deep blue to aqua/turquoise. Execution details: The frontal surface features precise raised engravings that delicately define the plumage and the iconic face of the raptor. The natural terracotta back reveals the authenticity of the artisanal process and includes a hole prepared for wall mounting. A unique work of art, rich in expressive power and symbolic value, perfect for contemporary art collectors and lovers of author’s ceramics. The Author’s Seal: The Monogram To guarantee artistic vision and originality of the project, the work bears Federico Alibrio’s distinctive monogram. The symbol, which blends the initials of the artist’s name, is an integral part of the design and certifies that every phase of creation, from the original model to the final finish, occurred under his strict aesthetic control. The artwork will be shipped in careful packaging with a certificate of authenticity. Sicilian artist Federico Alibrio, born in 1995, is always seeking inspiration through new experiences.
