We therefore highly recommend waiting until all desired auctions from the same themed auction have ended before completing payment. ──────────────────── Franklin Mint – Cobalt-Blue Egg with Golden Figural Decoration on a 24-Karat Gold-Plated House of Fabergé Stand An elegant decorative arrangement combining a Franklin Mint egg in deep cobalt blue with an ornate, 24-karat gold-plated House of Fabergé stand. The glossy blue surface provides a striking background for the gold-coloured decoration. An elegantly dressed lady in a flowing period gown stands within a garden scene, surrounded by foliage and floral details. A ribbon-and-bow motif near the top and floral garlands around the lower section complete the decorative design. The contrast between the dark blue finish and the warm golden ornament gives the egg a refined, classical appearance. The stand complements this with its scalloped upper support, textured decoration and three curved feet. An attractive display piece for a collector’s cabinet, mantelpiece or sideboard. ──────────────────── Design & Markings Franklin Mint decorative egg with a glossy cobalt-blue finish and gold-coloured figural, floral and ribbon decoration. House of Fabergé stand with 24-karat gold plating. The underside of the stand bears the House of Fabergé marking and an individual identification number, as shown in the photographs. The underside of the egg also carries a copyright marking, visible in the detailed photograph. ──────────────────── Composition & Condition This arrangement has been assembled by us from two separate pieces. The House of Fabergé stand originally accompanied a different egg and has now been paired with this Franklin Mint egg. The two components were not originally issued together as a set. They are offered here as an individually arranged decorative ensemble. Surface marks and variations in the decorative finishes are visible in the photographs. Please examine all images carefully for the condition of the blue surface, golden decoration and gilded stand.
