Exquisite Vintage Brooch With Diamonds in White Gold, Belgium ca. 1960

A dynamic arrangement of white gold rods and diamonds presents us with this glamorous brooch from around 1960. Perhaps it is a feather, perhaps a bundle of grasses with long awns or a shooting star that inspired the design here in stylized form? The design of the brooch oscillates between abstraction and nature reproduction and inspires with its three-dimensionality and its will to form. It is the modernist style of the Midcentury that the elegant vintage brooch presents to us here in exemplary fashion: In the brilliance of diamonds and white gold and executed in an expressive form, the jewel illustrates the will of the jewellery designers to make a new start after the horrific war years. A total of fifty-two diamonds with a total weight of approximately 1.10 carats were processed here to make the brooch sparkle brightly. According to the marking, the well-preserved piece of jewellery was forged in Belgium, here in Berlin it found its way to us. Now it is waiting to once again adorn a lady's blazer at an exciting premiere, a beautiful evening gown at a cocktail evening or a pretty costume at an elegant dinner.
