It is called Fluorite because when it receives ultraviolet light it glows, and this is due to its high calcium fluoride content. The name Fluorite comes from the fact that it is composed of high levels of calcium fluoride. Fluorite is a stone used for matters related to the spirit and mind. It is said that thanks to its mystical powers, this stone allows the creation of a kind of portal to another dimension. Properties and benefits of Fluorite One of the main benefits is that it increases concentration, because it helps the mind enter a calm and attentive state. The power of this stone can promote sleep and ease the mind for a pleasant rest. Fluorite helps remove negative vibes and thoughts from the body, making it a tool to combat stress and anxiety. Many people call it “the stone of order,” because it brings a sense of organization to life, mental well-being, and helps discover which path to take to find inner peace. It is also known as “the rock of geniuses,” because it helps unlock mental abilities, improves dexterity and the way one relates to others. Many people desire Fluorite for its striking colors and its small touch of shine, but what they don’t know is that it is a rock full of energy, which increases personal light and enhances intelligence.
