Excel Denmark - Jacob Borch - Fruit bowl - Spiral Bowl...

Jacob Borch for Excel Denmark / Comment – 'Spiral Bowl' stainless steel fruit bowl – with original box A particularly well-designed Danish fruit bowl by Jacob Borch for Excel Denmark / Comment, probably from the 1980s–1990s. The open spiral shape gives the bowl a sculptural appearance: a playful interplay of lines, light and space that works both filled with fruit and as an independent design object. The brushed stainless steel emphasizes the minimalist character of the design. A handsome focal piece on a dining table, kitchen island or sideboard, fitting in a Scandinavian or modern interior. The bowl comes with the original box, featuring the model name 'Spiral Bowl', the Comment logo and the striking slogan: "Twisted minds make twisted designs. And buy them." Dimensions: H 12 cm x Ø 29 cm Weight: 1418 grams This object is in nice pre-owned condition with only light patina of age and use. It is shipped with the original packaging, with Smart shipping safely packed, insured, and sent registered with track and trace.
