Large oil painting by Evert Moll Voorburg 1878-1955 The Hague Groses Ölgemälde von Evert Moll Voorburg 1878 - 1955 Den Haag. Evert Moll Voorburg 1878 - 1955 Den Haag / Den Haager Schule. The painter Evert Moll lived and worked between 1895 and 1930 in Voorburg, London, Paris, The Hague and Rotterdam. Later he moved to The Hague. There he was advised by Willem Maris and then continued his studies. He produced works on commission for art dealers in the United States and Canada. Evert Moll painted landscapes, especially river, sea and harbor views, and in the last years he also painted still lifes. Evert Moll’s works are in the national collections of the Liquidizer Museum and the Boymans-van Beuningen Museum. He remained faithful to himself and to the principles of the Hague School. Evert Moll is best known for his numerous harbor views. The still lifes are extremely rare. Oil on canvas, unframed 60 x 50 cm; with frame 75 x 66 cm. Signed lower left by Evert Moll, in good condition.
