All auctions / Ancient Art / Ethiopian black opal pendant
This natural cabochon displays a play of colors of remarkable intensity: electric green and red flashes explode on a golden background sprinkled with yellow sparks that shift with every angle of light. The colors are vivid and contrasted, signature of the most expressive Welo opals. Provenance: Welo Region, worldwide reference for opal since the 2000s. Lithotherapy: A stone of creativity and emotion, opal is associated with the sacral chakra and the crown chakra. It enhances artistic expression, favors spontaneity, and invites embracing change with lightness. Care: Welo opal is a hydrophane stone; it absorbs water. Avoid repeated contact with water, perfumes, and household products, to avoid irreversible internal microcracks. Ethiopian opal has the peculiarity of rapidly changing appearance depending on the intensity and nature of the light that illuminates it. Depending on brightness or lighting, one can see multicolored fires or simply a dark base. This is where the magic of this stone resides; it makes it come alive. 1. Secure shipping with tracking number. 2. Shipment twice a week. For Europe and international, delivery time may vary from 8 to 15 days depending on the destination and customs controls at the borders. 3. All my stones are genuine, without color treatment, resin, or plastic. They have all been carefully selected, but as they are natural and artisanal products, they may sometimes show small imperfections. 4. The stated size includes the bail. The chain in the photos is part of the sale. Real photos; you will receive the pendant you see. 5. The stones have changing reflections depending on the light, indoor lighting, or the sun. The photos were taken indoors with appropriate lighting and outdoors in natural light when the weather allows. I always try to faithfully reproduce the natural colors of the stone. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.
