Smart Knowing exactly which train is on a section, in combination with the ECoS turnout module, enables new functions: The barriers at a level crossing can automatically be lowered, for example, or trains search for a free track in the yard. In doing so, the switch inputs or track occupancy detectors are electronically "unlinked" to ensure reliable feedback, even with a faulty contact or heavily dirty rails. ECoSlink connection Each ECoSDetector is directly connected to the control unit via the ECoSlink bus. All ECoS command stations and all Central Station Reloaded with ESU Update are suitable. The galvanic isolation of the bus system and the command station guarantees the highest operational safety and a safe transmission to the command station. All ECoS detectors are automatically recognized in the central and integrated into the operating sequence. The configuration of the devices takes place conveniently and easily directly on the command station and can also be performed after installation.
