A0000004360 VINTAGE ELEGANCE, SOBERNESS / TORTOISE GOLD EDITION WITH STUB NIB: An exceptional high-end Esterbrook Estie fountain pen, in its highly coveted catalog finish "Tortoise Gold", part of the brand's modern contemporary collection under factory official reference E136-F. Designed as the perfect bridge between the golden age of classic celluloid and modern materials, this line is a cult object. This exemplar stands out for its robust chassis 15.0 cm long when closed, made from high-density turned acrylic resin with an exquisite marbled pattern that imitates the traditional tortoise shell in tones of dark brown, amber, caramel and translucent cream. The cap features a friction-fit closure system assisted by an internal spring that hermetically seals the nib to prevent ink evaporation, mounted with a highly flexible yellow-gold plated clip and bearing the firm name "Esterbrook" engraved on the lower lip.
