Escuela Impresionista Europea (XX) - Retrato Primaveral

Title: Spring Portrait School: European Impressionist (20th century) Style: Figurative Impressionism Technique: Oil on canvas Circle and artistic influence: Work linked to the domain of European Impressionism and Post-Impressionism of the 20th century, with a pictorial conception centered on capturing light, color, and the spontaneity of brushwork. The outdoor feminine representation and the luminosity of the palette recall the tradition developed by the French Impressionists and their subsequent followers, especially in the treatment of elegant and relaxed scenes in gardens, parks and recreational spaces. Figurative composition featuring a young woman elegantly dressed, seated on a bench in a landscaped setting. The figure wears a wide dress in pink, mauve and violet tones, complemented by a wide-brimmed hat adorned, elements that confer a marked springlike and refined character to the scene. The model appears in a relaxed attitude, resting one arm on the back of the bench while directing her gaze toward the viewer. Behind her unfolds a luminous landscape composed of trees with abundant foliage and a broad bluish expanse that seems to open toward the horizon. The execution stands out for a loose, visible, and impasto brushstroke, especially evident in the dress, the foliage and the sky. The use of greens, blues, pinks and violets builds the scene principally through chromatic relationships, relegating precise drawing to a secondary plane. The overall effect conveys luminosity, freshness, and a sense of immediacy characteristic of the Impressionist tradition. The work is presented with a rectilinear-profile frame in a dark tone with gilded moldings, accompanied by a wide beige passe-partout or textile interframe. A fine inner gold molding delineates the painting and adds depth to the ensemble. The frame shows signs of aging and use. Notes The work and the frame may show slight signs of age, wear, or small imperfections visible in the photographs. It is recommended to closely observe the images as an integral part of the lot description. Dimensions with frame: 108 x 81.5 cm Dimensions without frame: 92 x 65.5 cm The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packing. In that case, we will require photographs of the damage to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by an extra charge due to causes such as being outside a continental territory, excess size or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this extra cost. The courier that must cross the Swiss border can be delayed much more than usual, so, if possible, to speed up the process, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so that the client can unlock it and thus it can reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties. Due to the high volume of shipments, it is possible that the order is delayed by more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us via internal messaging.
