Title: Morning Light School: European Fauvist School (20th century) Style: Landscape Fauvism Technique: Oil on canvas Condition: Generally good condition, with signs of aging in keeping with the period of the work. Circle and artistic influence: A work stylistically linked to the Fauvist and European Post-Impressionist traditions of the first half of the 20th century. The spontaneous brushwork, the expressive use of color, and the simplification of forms recall movements that privileged chromatic and luminous perception over strictly naturalistic representation. The influence of Mediterranean landscape painting is also evident, particularly in the treatment of vegetation and coastal luminosity. The composition represents a coastal landscape bathed in clear morning light. In the foreground, there is a zone of vegetation and uneven terrain, articulated by trees with sinuous trunks that frame the scene and guide the eye toward the horizon. In the distance, the sea appears, resolved with a bluish surface that contrasts with the greens, ochers, and yellows of the vegetation. The execution is characterized by visible, loose, energetic brushstrokes, with applications of painterly matter that build the forms through patches of color. The chromatic range combines olive greens, yellows, earth tones, blues, and violets, creating a luminous and warm atmosphere. The work bears a signature in the lower left corner. The piece is presented with a molded wood frame, finished in black with craquelure and gilded details. The alternation between dark and golden bands creates a strong decorative contrast and adds depth to the ensemble. Observations: The work may incur transit damage even with proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damage to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge for reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excess dimensions, or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge under any circumstances. The courier that must cross the Swiss border can experience much longer delays than normal, so if possible, to speed up processing, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so the client can unlock it and thus it can reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties. Due to the high volume of shipments, orders may be delayed more than three days; we apologize and thank you for your patience. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us via internal messaging. Dimensions: 23 × 28 cm Dimensions with frame: 28 × 33 cm
