Escuela Abstracta Europea (XX) - Explosión en Ocre

Title: Explosion in Ochre ㅤ School: European Abstract School (20th century) ㅤ Style: lyrical abstraction / informalism ㅤ Technique: Oil on paper adhered to board ㅤ Condition: Good overall preservation state, with signs of age consistent with the technique and support. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The work approaches lyrical abstraction and European informalism of the second half of the 20th century. Gesturality, stains, dragging of material and the chromatic reduction to whites, ochre and blacks refer to the language of gestural and material painting. ㅤ Abstract composition of notable dynamism built from large white and ochre stains crossed by dark areas, splashes and spontaneous strokes. The painting seems to expand from the central core over a light background, generating a sense of movement, energy and spontaneity. ㅤ Dark wooden frame with a classical profile and gilded inner moulding. The ensemble incorporates a wide dark background that visually acts as a passe-partout and enhances the paper. ㅤ Observations: ㅤ The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In that case, we will request photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to causes such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item.
