Enrico Faccini - 12 Offset Print - Topolino - Firmato

Enrico Faccini's Folder Produced in 50 numbered copies Signed and dated 2026 Contains 12 prints dedicated to the 12 zodiac signs, obviously translated into a Disney cartoon style The size of the prints is about 10.5 x 14.5 cm This is a beautiful collector's folder as it is a very limited production, a gem from a Master like Enrico Faccini. Enrico Faccini is a comic author and illustrator, one of the most appreciated interpreters of the Italian Disney world. Born in Santa Margherita Ligure on March 2, 1962, he has lived in Genoa for almost fifty years. After classical studies and several years at university, he chose to devote himself to comics, nurturing a passion for drawing born in childhood and fostered also by a family environment sensitive to art. A keen reader of stories published in “Topolino” since the sixties, he grew up admiring authors such as Romano Scarpa, Giorgio Cavazzano, Giovan Battista Carpi, Guido Martina and Rodolfo Cimino. His entry into the professional world came through a training path under the guidance of important Disney comic masters, including Carlo Chendi, Giovan Battista Carpi and Romano Scarpa. Thanks also to editorial support from figures like Massimo Marconi and Ezio Sisto, he gradually developed into a complete author, signing both texts and drawings of his own stories. His graphic style lies in the most classic tradition of Disney comics, while narratively he stands out for his ability to grasp the surreal, ironic and paradoxical aspects of situations, giving life to stories rich in humor and rhythm. Throughout his career he has created numerous stories for “Topolino” and for the Italian Disney publishing scene. In 2005 he received the Gold Topolino as best screenwriter of the year for the story “Donald Duck and the Shattering Weight-Loss Program,” published in “Topolino no. 2540” of August 3, 2004. Alongside professional accolades, Faccini regards the greatest prize to be the affection and appreciation of readers who have followed his stories for years.
