English late 17th century oak eight day longcase clock signed Tho (Thomas) Bridge, Londini Fecit, 11" square brass dial with a matted centre, winged cherub spandrels, ringed winding holes, silvered Roman and Arabic numeral chapter ring and a subsidiary seconds dial over the calendar aperture with a scrolled engraved surround, the movement with four knopped and ringed pillars, anchor escapement and inside countwheel strike on a bell, the oak case with a flat top hood and blind fret cornice, over a single long moulded rim door and plinth base, 78.75" high (with a pair of lead weights, pendulum with detached bob and winding key ** please note the dial's second hand is missing)
