Enami, Farsari, Suzuki, Yokohama School (XIX) - Tea drinking

Circa 1885/1895, 20x26 cm. "Tea drinking", a very beautiful portrait by one of the pioneers reputedly of the Yokohama school, before Kuzakabe Kimbei, whose signatures were either absent or manifested by archival numbers rather than captioned banners. Superb vintage albumen print with watercolor retouches, with very good preservation of contrasts and levels of detail, mounted on cardboard support. Museum-quality.
