Enami, Farsari, Suzuki, Yokohama School (XIX) - Girl, winter costume

Circa 1885/1895, 20x26 cm. "Girl, winter costume", a very beautiful portrait by one of the pioneers said to be of the Yokohama school, before Kuzakabe Kimbei, whose signatures were either absent or materialized by archival numbers rather than captioned banners. A superb vintage albumen print with watercolor touch-ups, with excellent preservation of contrasts, colors and levels of detail, mounted on a thin carton support. Museum-quality. Will be shipped with its neutral-pH pouch (ideal for a collection kept in good condition). A modest conservator’s reserve price, not to be missed. Secure shipment by GLS or equivalent, a single shipping fee for multiple purchases; take this opportunity to group your orders.
