Enamel edge "No Entry" - Enamel sign - Enamel, Steel

Rectangular enamel sign in blue and red with a white circular prohibitory symbol depicting a human figure, crossed by a red diagonal stripe. Below the pictogram, on a red bar, the text "Passage interdit" (No entry) in white letters. This type of sign was commonly hung at the ends of metro and train platforms to warn travelers not to proceed further. The sign is made of metal with a glossy enamel layer. On the back there is a metal mounting strip with four screw-thread points. The sign is in used, vintage condition with a strong gloss on the front. There are light signs of wear visible, such as a few small spots and scratches. The back shows clear patina and stains, appropriate for a sign that has hung outdoors. This graphic French warning sign is, thanks to its bright color scheme, clear pictogram, and origin from public transportation, a stylish focal piece for lovers of unusual signs and industrial decor.
