All auctions / Ethnographic / Emu Taxidermy wall mount - Dromaius novaehollandiae...

Take a good look at all the photos. Dromaius is a genus of birds in the Casuariidae family, consisting of a single living species: the Australian Emu. The genus Dromaius was previously classified within its own family, the Dromaiidae, but was ultimately reclassified among the Casuariidae due to genetic proximity to the cassowaries (Christidis & Boles, 2008). Rarely offered, as it is difficult to find, this adorable specimen. Taxidermy having been completed in late 2025, the bird is in near-new condition, presented on a stand for display. The colors, expression and gaze are sublime. This unique presentation, this exceptional lot is offered to All of You, here, and only here, on Catawiki. When shipping, the bird and the branch will be removed from the stand to secure the package (see last photo). (All our packages are secured using materials specifically adapted for this purpose, and are shipped no later than the day after your payment, via Colissimo, with the tracking number provided.)
