Empolesi - Bottle - Glass - Decanter / Bottle

Splendid and elegant decorative bottle in the shape of a dog, made of intense, brilliant blue glass that fades into a light blue blown tone with a textured relief, typical of the famous Empoli (Tuscany, Italy) craftsmanship of the 1960s. This glass art piece stands out for its anthropomorphic and sinuous design that reproduces the silhouette of a seated dog in a frontal position. The surface of the body features a finely worked raised texture that simulates the animal's fur, enriching the base where the legs are defined. The head, finished in minute detail with ears and an expressive snout, is completely removable and serves as the original stopper. The stopper’s stem still carries its vintage plastic seal, essential to protect the glass and ensure stability when inserted onto the bottle neck. An iconic piece of Italian Mid-Century Modern / Space Age, perfect for Empoli glass collectors or as a sophisticated vintage decorative element.
