The artist who created this statue was Emmanuel Villanis (1858-1914) - French sculptor. Villanis was born in France as the son of Italian parents. He began training from 1871 at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arte in Turin. Very fine detailed work - the lady is of incredible beauty - this was perfectly executed by the artist.
