Emeryville #31 - Jaren Dahlstrom

Emeryville #31 by Jaren Dahlstrom Painting 24.0 x 30.0 :: The artwork featured in the image is an abstract painting with vibrant and contrasting colors. Dominant hues include dark red green blue and yellow creating a sense of swirling motion that catches the eye. The colors are distributed in a dynamic almost tumultuous fashion with defined areas of red appearing to flow like waves or dunes interspersed with streaks and patches of green and blue giving the impression of natural elements like land sea and vegetation in an abstracted form. The brushwork is quite expressive contributing to the overall energy of the composition. There are also stripes of solid purple rectangles top and bottom which serve to frame sections of the vivid imagery. Two rows of vertical black blocks disrupt the continuity for an effect that draws attention to the composition's abstract nature. The overall impact is one of lively movement and bold color relations. This is a painting deserving of a dramatic frame. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 24.0 Height: 30.0 Depth: 0.3 Weight: 20 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
