Outer case decorated with a classical allegorical scene depicting Cupid and the Loves, within an asymmetrical Rococo cartouche and pierced foliate outer border. Inner case of “bassine” form, the band pierced and engraved with floral motifs, the front engraved with a small village scene. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer arcaded minute ring and Arabic five-minute numerals. Gold “Louis XV” hands.
