Ella Suárez - Sistema floral 9 - XL (no reserve)

From the Floral System series Unique work In Floral System, Ella Suárez treats the flower as a complex, ever-expanding structure. Far from a descriptive representation, the series proposes an approach in which the floral form unfolds as a field of study: a system of relations between center, periphery, rhythm, and growth. The works are built from a close-up look that magnifies scale and transforms perception. Petals, openings, and internal cores expand until they occupy the plane, generating compositions where the flower ceases to be a recognizable object and becomes organic architecture. The concept of the expanded flower runs through the series as a way of thinking about nature from within. The forms open, fold, and overlap, revealing dynamics of tension and balance that refer to processes of development, transformation, and unfolding. Color acts as both structure and energy. The tonal ranges are organized into transitions that build depth and vibrancy, shaping a space where each plane responds to an internal logic. The relationship between light, matter, and form creates an intense, almost tactile presence, placing the viewer in a close-up experience. In Floral System, the flower is understood as a system and a process: a living form that is not represented but built and transformed in the painting.
