East Indian Railway Opened to Rajmahal, 1860, a silver medal, unsigned [after W. Wyon, Calcutta mint], coronetted bust of Victoria left, rev. inscription in sixteen lines, edge named (Mr Cubitt Rundle, Resident Engineer Bengal, October 15th 1860), 73mm, 98.57g (Pudd. 860.2; Moyaux 46; Swan 399). Toned with hairlines, otherwise good very fine; in original black fitted case of issue, very rare £200-£300.
