With a length of about 17 cm, it is a particularly impressive specimen. The fibula is characterized by its distinctive five-part head shape and the very beautiful, elaborate-looking ornamentation. The size and design make this piece an attractive object for collectors of early medieval archaeology and Merovingian art. The object is overall in very good condition and possesses an appealing, age-appropriate patina. Condition: - Nearly excellent condition - One of the five heads was professionally reattached - The existing pin was presumably added or replaced at a later date.
