Artist: E. Stefano Year: 2014 Medium: Acrylic and spatula on canvas Painting signed and dated at the bottom right and accompanied by a paper certificate of authenticity handwritten by the artist. Description of the work: Fascinating and textural still life in a contemporary style, entitled "Abstract Still Life." The work reinterprets a classical art theme through a strong abstract and geometric sensibility, where the forms of everyday objects blend harmoniously with the background. The composition features a selection of bottles of various shapes, terracotta jugs, a bowl, and a cluster of grapes, laid on a surface partially covered by a white drapery. The spatula technique gives the painting a rich tactile texture, creating reliefs and vibrant textures that catch the light in a dynamic way. The color palette is dominated by warm earth tones—from burnt umber to ochre—interrupted and enhanced by bold accents of dark blue and slate gray on the bottles, and the pure white of the fabric in the foreground, which adds depth and a strong geometric contrast to the entire scene. A work with great visual impact, perfect for furnishing both classic and modern spaces. *Conditions and Shipping (Please read carefully): Canvas NOT included: To ensure maximum safety during transport, the painting is sold without a wooden frame. Protected shipping: The canvas will be carefully rolled and shipped inside a high-strength rigid cardboard tube. Canvas margins: The canvas has peripheral margins of only 2 cm, as it was originally fixed to the edges of the original frame. Condition of the canvas: On the surface there are marks and folds from the previous framing. These marks are not a defect, but serve as a precise guide for positioning on the new support. Advice for the buyer: With a reduced margin (2 cm), the canvas must be stretched by attaching the points directly to the outer edges of the new frame. It is strongly recommended to entrust the work to a professional framer or to an industry expert to perform a proper and taut re-stretching. Dimensions of the painted surface: 70x80 cm Overall dimensions with margins: 74x84 cm *Finish: the painted surface has been treated with a final glossy protective varnish. * The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the beauty and vibrancy of the colors and the texture of the brushstrokes. *NOTE: the item ships only to European Union member countries; we do not ship to countries outside Europe and outside the EU.
