"Portrait with an Apple" is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work features a young woman with blonde hair holding a green apple close to her face. The figure almost fills the entire composition and looks directly at the viewer, creating an intimate and direct portrait. The fruit, isolated beside the face, becomes a secondary visual focal point and adds a suggestive symbolic dimension to the scene. The composition is built with large areas of color and a palette of strong contrasts: the deep blue of the dress, the orange of the background, the bright green of the apple, and the yellow tones of the hair. The bold outlines and the simplification of volumes give the image a graphic and contemporary character, while the chromatic variations on the skin replace traditional modeling with a more expressive treatment. The intensity of color and formal simplification show affinities with Fauvism and Post-Impressionism, with echoes of Henri Matisse and the modern tradition of the female portrait, understood as aesthetic references rather than attribution. The presence of the apple also connects the work to the long symbolic tradition of fruit in the history of art and still life. A contemporary portrait with strong visual presence, especially attractive to collectors interested in the female figure, portraiture, apples, symbolism, Fauvism, Post-Impressionism, contemporary figurative art, and colorful painting. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. After payment is confirmed, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and ship it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days."
