"Cat at Sunset" is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work presents a bright coastal scene at the end of the day. In the foreground, a white cat sits on a red terrace contemplating the horizon, becoming the silent protagonist of the composition. In front of it, the sun sinks over the sea and casts a long golden reflection on the water, while small boats and birds complete the landscape. The palette is built with intense reds, oranges and yellows in contrast with the blues and greens of the sea. The architecture, the flowers, and the vegetation frame the view and guide the gaze toward the horizon, creating a deep and scenographic composition. The visible brushwork and the free treatment of color give movement to the clouds, the reflections on the water, and the vegetation. The chromatic intensity and the prominence of light show affinities with Fauvism and Post-Impressionism, while the solitary figure of the cat introduces an intimate and contemplative dimension close to the modern tradition of the Mediterranean landscape. A warm and evocative figurative painting that combines seascape, architecture, nature, and daily life. Especially appealing to collectors interested in cats, sunsets, coastal landscapes, the Mediterranean Sea, contemporary figurative painting, Fauvism, Post-Impressionism, and art with strong chromatic presence. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. After payment is confirmed, a preparation period of three days is required to ready the piece and ship it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days.
